This is a miniature reconstructed whole skeleton replica of Dimetrodon, one of the most iconic synapsids of the Permian period.
The model is based on original digital sculpting created by Amphi LLC and reconstructs the complete skeletal anatomy of this prehistoric animal in a display-friendly scale.
Produced using a high-resolution stereolithography 3D printer, the replica features exceptionally fine anatomical detail. The layer lines typically associated with 3D printing are barely visible, resulting in a realistic fossil-style appearance.
[Production Method]
Photopolymer resin is used as the primary material.
Each component is produced with a high-resolution stereolithography 3D printer.
After printing, the model is carefully hand-painted in a fossil-inspired finish.
The highly detailed structure faithfully reproduces the reconstructed skeletal form designed by Amphi LLC.
