Miniature Skeleton Replica of Gastornis (Gastornis sp.) - 20 cm
This is a miniature whole skeleton replica of Gastornis (formerly known as Diatryma), one of the largest flightless birds of the Paleogene period.
The model faithfully reproduces the fossil skeleton of this remarkable prehistoric bird in a compact display size and is supplied mounted on a display base.
Scientific Name: Gastornis sp.
Formerly known as Diatryma.
Current research suggests that Gastornis was likely a herbivore that fed on tough plant material and seeds, rather than a predator, based on fossil evidence and studies of its beak structure.

[Production Method]
Photopolymer resin is used as the primary material.
Each component is produced using a high-precision stereolithography 3D printer.
After printing, the model is carefully hand-painted to resemble a natural fossil skeleton.
The layer lines typically associated with 3D printing are barely visible, resulting in a highly detailed display model.
