This is a life-size replica of a Florida Gar (Lepisosteus platyrhincus).
The model was created from CT scan data obtained from a fluid-preserved specimen in the Amphi LLC collection. It was designed to allow observation of both the skeletal structure and the scale pattern simultaneously, providing an accurate representation of the original specimen.

Photopolymer resin is used as the primary material.
Each component is produced with a high-resolution resin 3D printer and carefully painted by hand.
The model is securely mounted to a display base using metal supports to ensure long-term exhibition stability.
