This is a miniature whole skeleton replica of Triceratops horridus, one of the most iconic herbivorous dinosaurs of the Late Cretaceous period.
The model is based on a Smithsonian Institution specimen and utilizes publicly available 3D data licensed for reuse. The pose has been modified to create an attractive display model while preserving the anatomical features of the original specimen.
[Production Method]
Photopolymer resin is used as the primary material.
Each component is produced using a high-precision stereolithography 3D printer.
After printing, the model is carefully hand-painted to resemble a natural fossil skeleton.
The layer lines typically associated with 3D printing are barely visible, resulting in a highly detailed display model.
