This is a miniature whole skeleton replica of a Domestic Dog (Canis lupus familiaris).
The model was created from 3D scan data obtained from a real skeletal specimen in the Amphi LLC collection, faithfully reproducing the anatomy of a domestic dog in a compact display scale.
One of the unique features of this model is its articulated construction. Wire-connected joints, including the scapulae, allow the skeleton to be posed in a variety of anatomically realistic positions.
The original specimen used for this model possesses 7 cervical vertebrae, 13 thoracic vertebrae, and 6 lumbar vertebrae.
[Production Method]
Photopolymer resin is used as the primary material.
Each component is produced using a high-resolution stereolithography 3D printer.
After printing, the model is carefully hand-painted to resemble a natural skeletal specimen.
The highly detailed structure faithfully preserves the morphology of the original specimen.
